Jason Scott Lee did a fantastic job portraying the iconic hero, and as someone who hadn’t known that much about Lee besides his martial arts movies, it was very informative and enthralling from beginning to end about the life that Lee lived on a daily basis. Bruce Lee was a revered martial artist, actor and filmmaker known for movies like Fists of Fury and Enter the Dragon, and the technique Jeet Kune Do. I really think that the creators of Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story not only wanted to tell the story of Lee’s life but celebrate it in a way that hadn’t been done before. Bruce Lee expert John Little tracks down the real world locations of some of Lees most iconic action scenes, largely unchanged nearly 50 years later. Bruce Lee, dressed in the traditional Chinese outfit he wore in the movie Enter The Dragon, was laid to rest in. While Bruce Lee is not in this film, I’ve always really loved this biopic.
It starts with his move to the United States, teaching as a martial arts instructor, and later becoming the big man in film that we all know him as today. In this biographical film, Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story tells us about the famous man behind all these movies, and his rise to fame.
